Harrybaker Training and Consulting Ltd is Deji Ariyo’s expert training and consulting business. Through this vehicle, he delivers accredited training courses in a range of PPM and ITSM courses at both the Foundation and Practitioner levels.

Benefits Realization

Deji is vocal about the need for new thinking in how organizations can translate ideas to benefits through people. There is very wide gap between strategy formulation and execution/implementation. Projects, programmes and Portfolio are the vehicles used in taking the organizations from one level to another level. Managed well, the organizations reap the benefits but managed badly, disappointments and frustrations are the results. Deji had worked with a number of disappointed and frustrated clients who are not getting much benefits from their projects of portfolio. Over the years, he has conducted a number researches to find the missing links. Sending employees for project management training will not automatically translate to benefits for the organizational portfolio of projects.


Coaching and Mentoring

Deji is very passionate about improved measurable impact from investment in training, more role based and practical training. Helping clients clarify value creating processes with all associated activities mapped to their people with the appropriate level of competency level for the skills required.

Concerned about creating a learning system that make new learnings stick. No matter how facilitator or trainer is, most trainees tend to forget what they learn within 3 months. Deji helps to provide the missing links.

Most standard PPM and ITSM training geared towards passing an exam but not really learning. Organizations and individual spend money without optimal return on investment. Deji is all about giving the power to learn back to the organizations and people, not the training provider.


PPM & ITSM Influencer

As an inspiration speaker, he provides key-note talks at conferences, runs regular webinars on technical aspects of PPM & ITSM and writes regular blogs and white papers on the issues facing leaders and staff within organisations going through change. Core to his belief is that while systems and processes greatly enhance the ability or organisations to deliver initiatives, there is an increased lack of focus on change management, leadership and behavioural skills.
